Photography
Early in 2012, with the help of my friends Adam and Tom, I purchased a camera and started to take photos.
People, when I told them I took photos, started to ask me what I took photos of, and I didn't really have an answer for them. I still don't; I shoot whatever is in front of my camera.
I've had the good fortune this year to travel to different parts of North America. I took the above shot in San Francisco during Apple's World Wide Developer Conference. This shot was taken on a recent trip to my parents' cottage in New Brunswick.
Since I can't travel full time, I try to find new perspectives on downtown Toronto. This city is constantly changing, and I love trying to capture the unique geometric patterns created by Toronto's cityscapes.
Toronto doesn't just offer cityscapes; the city is full of more beauty and nature than I ever anticpated before I moved here. I'm try to share that perspective, since I think a lot of people discount this city as full of concrete and ambivalence.
