I was downloading the new iOS 6 SDK today, which takes a while. I wanted to check out the state of the download, and sorted my Downloads folder by “Date Modified.” The download, which was still in progress, looked like the following:
The date, midnight PST, January 24, 1984, was the launch date of the original Macintosh computer.
Apparently this has already been covered by Apple Insider, but for a relatively recent Mac convert (the Mac came out 6 years before I was even born), I feel a small sense of pride in finding it myself.
